How to Book G1 Test?

Here’s a complete guide on how to book the G1 test. G1 test booking can be done in 3 ways:

  1. Online
  2. Phone
  3. In-Person

1. Online Booking

Booking your G1 test online is simple and quick. You just have to visit the DriveTest website and go to the booking section. you’ll see how easy it is to schedule your appointment.

Here’s a guide on how to do G1 test online booking:

  1. Go to DriveTest.ca and find the “Book a Road Test” section on the site.
  2. Log into your account or create a new one using your personal details and G1 license info.
  3. Now you have to choose a nearby G1 Test Centre. Select an available date and time.
  4. After booking, you’ll get a confirmation email with all the details.

Some locations may have longer waiting times. Also, not every test center offers online booking. Be sure to check and book early, especially if you’re in a busy area.

Use your personal email as the system doesn’t allow multiple bookings with the same email. Booking online is the best way to avoid long waits and save time at the DriveTest Centre.

2. Phone Booking

G1 test booking on the phone is the best option if you prefer to speak directly with someone. It’s a quick and easy process that usually takes about 10 minutes. One thing you have to make sure is that you have all your details ready before you call.

Here’s the guide on how to do it:

  1. First of all, you have to make a call to the following Drive Test Number  1-888-570-6110 or 647-776-0331
  2. You have to talk to a representative. An automated system will guide you to the right option, but you’ll want to speak with a live operator.
  3. Then you will provide your details. Make sure you have your G1 license ready. The representative will ask for your full name, date of birth, and address.
  4. Pick a time and location that is easy for your test.
  5. Once your booking is confirmed, write down your confirmation number and appointment details.

You have to keep in mind that DriveTest is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. so call during those hours to get help.

3. In-Person Booking

If you like face-to-face interactions you can do your G1 test booking in person at a DriveTest Centre. It’s a simple way to sort out everything on the spot and ask any questions if you need help.

Here’s how you can do in-person G1 test booking:

  1. Go to DriveTest.ca and use the “Find a DriveTest Centre” option to locate the closest Drive Test Centre near you.
  2. You must go early. Many centers work on a first-come, first-served basis. So try to arrive early as it can save you from long waiting times.
  3. Check in at the reception and let the staff know you’re there for the G1 test booking.
  4. Bring your these documents with you:
    • G1 license (it works as ID).
    • Proof of residency if needed.
    • Payment method (cash, credit, or debit).
  5. The staff will ask and help you choose a test date, time, and location that works for you.
  6. You have to pay the test fee. Confirm the fee with the receptionist and make the payment.
  7. You’ll get a receipt with all your test details, keep it safe for test day.

If you ever need to change or cancel your test, you can do that online at DriveTest.ca. Just remember, if you cancel within 48 hours of the test, you’ll lose your test fee. Booking in person is simple, and the staff are there to help make the process easy for you.
