Our Beginner Driver Education (BDE) course is $695 total ($615 + HST). G and G2 road test preparation packages range from $110 to $500, depending on the number of lessons and whether you need a car for your test. See our course schedules for current dates and pricing.
In Ontario, drivers ed is officially called Beginner Driver Education (BDE). It is an MTO-approved course that combines classroom learning with in-car training. Our BDE courses in Hamilton are taught by certified instructors, and you can choose [in-class / online classroom] options.
In Ontario, new drivers must hold a G1 licence for at least 12 months before taking the G2 road test. Completing an MTO-approved Beginner Driver Education (BDE) course reduces that waiting period to 8 months. BDE graduates may also be eligible for an insurance discount, so check with your insurer. It also gives you structured, professional training before you drive on your own.
Yes. You can start with half of the course payment as your registration fee on the first day of the In class. The balance must be paid before the start of the in-car lessons. Please note that the payment has to be either cash or cheque. Please keep visiting our website for updates and online discount coupons.
Yes. We offer lessons for G1 holders who are just starting out, and G2 and G road test preparation for drivers who want more practice on test routes and skills. See our G and G2 preparation courses.
You can register online by choosing your course, location and schedule, or call the office closest to you. A minimum deposit of $300 is required for our Beginner Driver Education courses. Paying by Interac avoids the small credit card processing fee. In-class courses run once enough students have enrolled, and our online course lets you start today.
